CAPTURE CALM, ONE STEP AT A TIME

We are incredibly grateful to have received support from The National Lottery Community Fund towards our Capture & Calm Walks: Women’s Wellbeing & Connection programme.
This funding is helping us deliver a 12 month wellbeing programme across Stockport and Greater Manchester, including gentle wellbeing walks, women only creative wellbeing sessions, mindful litter picks, outreach activities and peer support opportunities. The funding also supports resources, volunteer development, accessibility support and equipment to help make sessions welcoming and inclusive for all women.
A heartfelt thank you to National Lottery players for making this possible. Your support is helping women feel less isolated, build confidence, connect with others and find gentle moments of calm within their local community. 💚

If you have been meaning to get out more, meet kind people, or enjoy some gentle time outdoors, you are very welcome here.
Capture & Calm Walks CIC offers relaxed wellbeing walks and creative community sessions across Greater Manchester.
You do not need to be a photographer, super fit, or know anyone already. Our walks are friendly, welcoming and designed for first timers.
When you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed and can join at your own pace.
Groups are small and relaxed, and you are welcome to come along just once to see how it feels.

Capture & Calm Walks is a community interest company. Sponsoring a photo helps support our wider community work, including free wellbeing walks, creative resources, exhibitions and inclusive activities that help people connect with nature and each other.
Every sponsored photo helps someone experience calm, connection and community who might otherwise miss out.

We create a small range of nature-inspired artwork and thoughtful items using our own photography and designs to help support the ongoing work of our community wellbeing work.
These include:
Limited edition artwork prints
Cards
Small creative gifts

Each item reflects the same gentle intention:
to help people pause, notice and bring a little calm into everyday spaces.
